The Garnetts, Gordons and Willises remained close for generations and all lived in close proximity to Culpeper for hundreds of years; many of them do to this day.

Isaac Willis, William Willis and many of their children married into the Garnett family. Branches of the Willis, Garnett, and Waggener families also traveled west to Kentucky together and remained close once settled there.
